Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Klipsy, an AI content-automation service operated by Klipsy. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Klipsy on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.

1. Accounts

You need an account to use Klipsy. You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including automations that continue to run while you are away. Tell us promptly at the address in section 10 if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The service

Klipsy generates short-form videos, image + text posts and text threads from templates, publishes them to social platforms you connect, and reports engagement metrics back to you. Generated output depends on the templates, media and settings you choose; we do not guarantee any particular reach, revenue or platform performance. We may add, change or retire templates and features as the service evolves.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Klipsy to:

  • publish content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights, including copyright and personality rights;
  • circumvent the rules, rate limits or content policies of TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, including bans on spam and undisclosed synthetic media where disclosure is required;
  • run automations against accounts you do not own or lack authority to manage;
  • probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it without a written agreement.

We may pause automations or suspend accounts that breach this section. Where practical we will notify you and give you a chance to remedy the issue first.

4. Your content & ownership

You own the content Klipsy generates for your account — videos, image posts and text posts alike — along with any media you upload. We claim no ownership over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit it solely to operate the service — for example rendering a post, uploading it to a platform you selected, and keeping the source files available for download.

You are responsible for having the rights to any footage, music or voice you supply, and for how published content complies with the law and platform rules in the places you publish.

5. Third-party platforms

Klipsy connects to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram through their official APIs. When you connect an account you authorize us to hold an access token for it and to use that token to publish content you scheduled and to read engagement metrics. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms — including the TikTok Terms of Service, YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy, and Meta's Platform Terms.

You can disconnect a platform at any time from your account settings, which revokes our token. Platforms may themselves change or withdraw API access; if that happens, connected features may stop working and this is not a fault in the service.

6. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your plan.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, or where we must by law. On termination, scheduled automations stop, platform tokens are revoked, and you have 30 days to download your generated content before we delete them, except where we must retain data to meet legal obligations.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klipsy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or platform actions taken against your connected accounts, and our total liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Klipsy after that date means you accept the updated terms.
